Coca-Cola - What Are You Craving For Iftar?

As a follow-up to their award-winning Ramadan campaign in 2017, Coca-Cola wanted to further engage Muslim consumers in the social space.

Learning from our audience interactions the previous year, we landed on the insight that hungry people love talking about the foods they're craving.

So for Ramadan 2018, we led with the simple question: "What are you craving for Iftar?"


As sunset rolled closer and the comments came in, we were prepared with an image bank of the most commonly requested foods during Ramadan (a list we had formulated through studying user comments the year before). For every comment we received, we responded with a customised #IftarMubarak greeting card, featuring the user's name, and exactly the foods they were craving.

It was a surprise that not only won hearts during a key festive period, but further reinforced the idea that no matter what food you're craving, it probably pairs well with a Coca-Cola.
